About Me
My name is Siebe Grefhorst, I was born on the 3th of July, 1991 in the Netherlands.
I started taking keyboard lesson when I was 14, in 2005. I had these lessons for about 3 months and then I got bored of all the homework this teacher was giving me so I quit, also because I was to occupied by Judo and Jiu-Jitsu but more of that later. After I quit I really loved to play by myself and I started learning the progammed songs in the keyboard by watching the keys. (It displayed each key as it was played). The second time I took lesson was with a piano teacher, who happend to be a friend's mom. I really liked playing piano and I started downloading sheets from the internet aside of my regular lessons and learning these songs by myself. This time I kept taking lesson quite a while untill I was forced to stop because I was simply to busy with school. Although also this time I kept playing by myself. Now I'm at my third teacher and I still really enjoy playing the piano, I hope this time I won't have to quit again.
Other the playing then piano I have also been busy with sports. I started taking judo lessons when I was 5 and I become more and more fanatic about it. By the time I was 11 I had my brown belt (you weren't allowed to take exams for black until you were 16 :( ), and I became 7th in the National Championship Under 15 Years (I'm still kind of proud of that). I kept doing this until I was 14 but stopped but It was to time-consuming (training more then 15 hours a week and almost every weekend a tournament, not rarely 2 in a weekend). Next to Judo I also played Jiu-Jitsu from age 9 to age 15 (blue belt) and Basketball from age 14 to age 17. Now I play Volleyball.
